This video of Sergey Sourkov and Melia is a winner’s dance from the Winter Star Championship of Russia 2010 that was held last weekend (Feb. 5 -6) in Moskow. “Sergey and Melia won and you can see why in this video.

Some spectators said Slavik and Anna improved a lot since the UK Open that was held in mid January; however, they couldn’t catch the super-hot Sergey and Melia.

OMG! This is one of the best rumba show dances I’ve seen. It’s from the 2009 World Superstars Dance Festival (WSSDF). As I noted in some other posts, Sergey Sourkov and Melia are improving a lot, and this rumba is a proof. You can see they were getting a standing ovation from the audience. I’d say it’s pretty rare to see from typically reserved Japanese audience.

The song is “Ne Me Quitte Pas,” originally by a famous French singer, Jacques Brel. This song was very popular one time in Japan. I couldn’t find the exact version of this song but the one by Nina Simon is close enough. The version I like is an English version sung by Barbra Streisand.

This is the third video of Sergey Sourkov and Melina’s dance from the 2009 World Superstars Dance Festival. As in most of their show dances, this routine captures the essence of jive, which means FUN, FUN, FUN. I like their costumes, too, even though Melina’s costumes in some competitions are not my cup of tea. Her costume seems to be improving for some reason.

The music is Pack Your Clothes by Louis Prima & Keely Smith.

This fun samba is from the 2009 World Superstars Dance Festival (WSSDF). Sergey is looking good in pink and he still shows his masculinity (in pink). Melia’s output is very suitable for samba, too.

Paso Doble is a dramatic dance, and Sergey Sourkov and Melia don’t disappoint us in this regard.. You can see a drama, emotions, power in this fabulous video. Sergey and Melia’s dancing, music, and choreography all came together to create an incredible show. In my opinion, this is their best dance.

This dance is from the 2009 World Superstars Dance Festival (WSSDF) and the music is a movie soundtrack for Angels and Demons, Air by Joshua Bell and Hans Zimmer. Joshua Bell, a talented violinist from the U.S., adds serenity in the beginning and the second half of the music is all drama, drama, in a typical Hans Zimmer way.

This is fun cha cha by Sergey Sourkov and Melia is from the 2009 World Superstars Dance Festival. This is a fun routine with very suitable costumes. I’m becoming a fan of Sergey and Melia as they seem to be improving a lot lately. This routine is one of my favorites from the 2009 WSSDF.

This is a samba video from 2009 German Open. The camera mostly focuses on Franco Formica/Oksana Lebedewa and Sergey Sourkov/Melina. You can also see Bryan Watson and Carmen in the audience.

This video is from German Open Championship held in Stuttgart in August. I love it when the video quality, as well as dance quality, is as good as this one. Good dancing from everyone but I don’t like the song.
