Here’s a brand new one from Michael Malitowki and Joanna Leunis. The dance is cha cha and the music is, well, techno. I remember they danced cha cha to Technologic (cha cha version), originally by Daft Punk. I’ve been looking for the video but haven’t been able to find it so far. Anyways, techno sound suits their dancing as their dancing is very precise.

Here’s something different. Franco Formica & Oksana Lebedewa show off their ballet skillsl. This video is fun to watch. I hope you’ll enjoy this as much as I did. The event was the 2009 Blackpool.

This is an excellent show dance by Valentin Voronov & Alina Imrekova to the tune of “Billie Jean” by Michael Jackson. The choreography fits the music so well with a nice tempo change in the middle. Dancing is superb. The only thing I didn’t like about it is the lighting. I wish they’d used more lights…. The event is the Cup of the Latin Quarter.

This video is a show dance by Andrej Skufca and Melinda Torokgyorgy at the 2010 Hungarian Championship held in Budapest.

This is the first video I could find from Maurizio Vescovo and his new partner, Andra Vaidilaite. It looks like this event was held in Italy very recently. The video quality isn’t that good and the server seems to be slow but I don’t mind.

If the video stops frequently, let it run once allowing it to stop occasionally. When you watch it for the second time, it should run smoothly.

OMG! This is one of the best rumba show dances I’ve seen. It’s from the 2009 World Superstars Dance Festival (WSSDF). As I noted in some other posts, Sergey Sourkov and Melia are improving a lot, and this rumba is a proof. You can see they were getting a standing ovation from the audience. I’d say it’s pretty rare to see from typically reserved Japanese audience.

The song is “Ne Me Quitte Pas,” originally by a famous French singer, Jacques Brel. This song was very popular one time in Japan. I couldn’t find the exact version of this song but the one by Nina Simon is close enough. The version I like is an English version sung by Barbra Streisand.

This show dance rumba by Ricardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagoryuchenko is from the Austin Ballroom Festival.

I believe they gave some workshops and private lessons in addition to doing shows. The music is “Feelings” by Shirley Bassey.
