This video clip of Dmitri Timokhin & Natalia Petrova is probably from the 2009 Russian Professional Latin Championships held in Moscow in April. They announced their retirement during this competition. This is a rumba show dance and the routine looks the same as this one.

This is an excellent video of Dmitri Timokhin and Anna Bezikova doing a demo performance in 2005. Too bad they don’t dance together any more. 2005 is the year of their break up, so this video is really precious. The sound quality is shaky at times, but I’m telling ya, I watched this four times straight.

Now, Dmitri seems to be in missing in action…. with repeated “no shows” for big comps. I’m wondering about the status of his partnership with Natalia Petrova. I have no clue what Anna, who’s now retired, is doing these days. I did find a video of her lecture but I don’t know when that particular video was made.

This is a presentation by finalists in Kremlin Cup 2008. Who do you like the best? I’m looking for presentations for other dances but haven’t been able to find any. The music is live and done by one of my favorite musicians, Georgie Musheev & The Seven Winds.
